Commitment to You
Buying or selling a house is both exciting and stressful. It's a process that requires careful attention and skilled negotiation. I'll be with you from the first hello through closing day, using my organizational skills to track every aspect of your transaction to see that it goes smoothly and that you achieve the best outcome. My training as a Certified Negotiation Expert included advanced negotiation techniques that can better help you achieve your goals.
What I Bring to the Table
As a certified EcoBroker, I've acquired the knowledge and resources to assist buyers looking for properties with green features and marketing those assets for sellers. You benefit three ways: 1) Learning how a building's green features can save you in maintenance and utility costs; 2) Living in a healthier space, and 3) Increasing your property's resale value. Most important, you can make a personal contribution toward reducing energy consumption and safeguarding our environment.
Ask Me About Whidbey
South Whidbey is an exciting place to live. Puget Sound and Saratoga Passage offer astounding views of water, mountain, and sky. Our lush cedar and hemlock forests frame gently rolling meadows. Wetlands harbor blue heron. Bald eagles fish our coasts. The people are no less astounding. Early families of loggers, fishermen, and farmers watched as "back-to-the-land" folks rooted themselves here in the 1970s. Today, people approaching retirement and those who telecommute further spice that stew. Our challenge in years to come will be to preserve the rural character of the island we've come to love while simultaneously welcoming newcomers who share our enthusiasm for this place.
Commitment to Community
Marketing for architectural firms taught me to examine not only the materials that make up a house, but also the quality of joins and connections that make it sound. I believe the integrity of a home's components offers a metaphor for how each of us fits into our community. As a board member for the South Whidbey Historical Society, the Langley Library and the Whidbey Island Association of Realtors, I hope to make a solid contribution to the life of South Whidbey.
